Egg and steak sandwich

The meat is a rib eye cut from the organic butcher. My husband felt peckish so I quickly wipped him up an egg and steak sandwich.

Heat the pan till it starts to smoke before putting the meat on.

I brushed the meat with some olive oil and sprinkled some salt and pepper on.

Slice a tomato, cucumber and gherkin.

Fry eggs in a medium hot pan with a little bit of butter.

Butter one side of the bread before toasting.

Our machine is a good little toaster as you can out it on: only toast one side (the not buttered one)

Slice meat add on to sandwich.

Carefully mount fried egg.

Serve.
