Baby Oscar pear & butternut puree

I love making fresh baby food for Oscar.

It is such a beautiful phase where he smiles and gurgles and some times blows all the food at you.

I make a lot of little dishes for him so he can explore.

Boil the pears till tender, remove skin and inner core.

I take my time so no pips are left.

The ricer is amazing tool to puree the fruit without making it into a too smooth paste.

Pore boiling water onto containers to sterilize them

add boiled water, to make it a more liquid mash

this is a very nice ice tray that also has a lid. I keep these in the freeze till needed.
