Apple with lemon and caramel

1 apple

cut out the core removing the pips

put in a piece of peeled lemon and cook in pot with a bottom of water

10 minutes or until apple is a la dente

place on plate

add to the remainder of the water 2 table spoons of white sugar once sugar is melted

add a table spoon of butter keep you eye on the pot and keep stirring

watch butter & sugar turn in to caramel. this process happens in seconds

Serve
