Chicken in the pot

60 grams of butter

Fry the chicken on all sides long enough till the skin is fried brown before turning.

Then put the heat to medium and keep turning.

Peel turnips


Boil potatoes for 15 minutes ad turnips till cooked


Keep turning chicken

60 grams of butter  2 cups of milk   pesa & nutmeg    melt briefly in microwave

  first the turnips through the ricer then the potatoes, picking out the skins .

If you do not have a ricer,  use anything else that mashes.

Fold it the mash into the melted butter mixture, add one loose whisked egg, fold in.

    1.5 hour later turn heat   off completely and let chicken rest in pot.

Put the mash back in the pot on the stove with medium heat before serving

Serve
